I just registered for all morning classes - with the exception of lecture. I won't have to take Pharmacology in the fall though, because I'm already taking it over the summer; and so far I'm doing well so hopefully I won't fail. I also ordered my uniforms today - the total was about $110 with the student discount. 2 sets of uniforms, 2 pins, 1 stethoscope tag. I think I'll look around more for comfortable shoes.

I'm not planning on registering for the critical thinking course either. Did everyone already get their CPR certification? I didn't get the BLS for Healthcare providers one so I have to retake it, and I couldn't find any classes available.

So I'm taking Pharm this summer as well. Will we have to bring the books (Med Dictionary + Drug guide) to class for Case Studies or any other day? She never explained if it would be in class or part of the homework.. or maybe that was during the first half of the class which I didn't get to record.

Congrats to those that got in; I did as well. Good luck to those that didn't.. and I was under the impression that there was no waiting list. I thought they explicitly stated that you have to reapply every semester? :/ I'll be taking Pharm next week. Any tips besides tape recording the class?

Yeah, I received two emails. The first one didn't have the deadline on it though.

They gave a deadline for when to call by for any discrepancies; hopefully that means they'll make a decision by June 17th and email us acceptance/denial letters the day after (or sooner!).

The workbook by Mary E. McDonald ? That was the one I used, anyway. The math portion was a nice refresher, and a couple of questions (reworded) from the science section actually appeared on the test. Though, I don't think it covered the basics of physics enough - since I stumbled across circuit questions on the exam. On the month prior to my exam, I looked over the math on the first week, and then science the following two weeks a little each day (about thirty minutes to two hours, depending on how much I already knew about the subject I was looking over for that day). On the week of my exam, I skimmed through all of the sections. My percentile overall was 96. Just relax and look over the material. You have plenty of time to refresh your memory on the basics of math/science. I did not prepare all that much for the verbal portion, though.

I sent in my application for Fall '09 last week; they evaluated it already and gave me 27.64 points. If the cutoff for January was at 25, I just hope mine's enough for Fall. :/
