Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of study for the nurse Procalc and the NLN entrance exam for PBCC fall nursing program.

I read on line that this school works on a point system

I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the program

(past/Present) student: HOW MANY POINTS DID YOU HAVE TO

WHEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM.

Anyone with info about the program, would be helpful.

Thanks

Time does fly, tomorrow is my pinning ceremony. I can believe that it has been more than two years since my first post on this thread.

Here is what I found out to be the answer to any questions. For 1st semester "Ambulate the client", 2nd "Potassium", 3rd OB "Massage the Fundus" 3rd Peds "C" 4th Psch "How does that make you feel" 4th Critical Care "Electrolyte Imbalance" and for HESI just like Peds the answer is always C. FIU see you in May.

Good luck everyone.

Congratulations, Driver02, you must feel really proud! This is quite an accomplishment. I saw when you embarked on this journey, which only seem like yesterday, and now you have completed this stage of your life. You are quite an inspiration to me and I wish you all the best on the rest of your journey.

How many points did you get in? I'm curious because I'm applying for Fall 2011

Specializes in CVICU, CCU, MICU.

I think cutoff was 27.5 if i remember correctly.

Hi, I was wondering if any of you took the online lecture for semester one? I was accepted to the Fall 2011 class and wondering if online is a good idea or not. Any advice would help, thanks! :)

Hey Kerri Ann,

In retrospect I would have taken semester I and II lectures online as the in class lecture gave me the feeling that I could have learned it better at home and not have to have spent the time to go down to Lake Worth.

However, you do lose out on the part of being with your classmates and the camaraderie - many who will become some of your closest friends throughout the program.
