My patho professor was horrible. The woman was very soft-spoken even though you can tell she was really smart. She graduated from Penn in Immunology. But seriously, she could not explain things well so I had to rely on her powerpoints and her very
in-depth study guides to pass the exams.
I am currently reteaching myself the patho because I learned nothing from her patho class. I mean, all I did was study her study guide to pass and that is hardly mastering it.
Anyway, I like this neuroscientist from Weber State University who explains things in his videos down to a T.
The guy is VERY clear and concise. They are a series of videos that covers all aspects of a regular patho course.

As you are studying, go to youtube and type in the disease, there will be a ton of videos you can watch. Just don't try watching them before you study because you never know if they are telling you information that is different from what your instructor wants you to know.
Watching personal stories of people who suffer from a certain condition was especially helpful for me because it was hard to forget that person and you also have a visual of their objective symptoms and a good idea of the subjective symptoms (especially if it's a tear jerker)
The "A" maker for me was when I had a patient with one of the conditions, study their chart and trends and it makes it personal for you. Hard to forget things like that.
