What knowledge will be learned in CMA school that I will be able to be used in LVN school? I understand that CMA's can only admin oral meds here in TX.

I will be attending LVN school this fall and have already aquired my CNA but will need to work part time while in school. Would it be helpful to my future studies for LVN if I were to get a medication administration certification?

What about certified medication aide? Why is phlebotomy class more beneficial than CMA?

I am so really greatful to you all for the positive feed back about the phlebotomy class for the skill. Will taking this class also help me understand rationales behind the different diagnostic tests too?

Hi jp480205, I would definetly apply. I just got approved for this coming Spring and my Hesi was close to yours. Only thing, I would make sure to get all accedemics completed. Not just the Pre-req's. Good luck!!!

I for one being middle matured will be very committed and flexible. I am very blessed to now have adult children. However, being older does concern me. As Toby K would say: "I ain't as good as I once was but, I'm as good once as I ever was". So, when they start telling me to jump I'll just make sure its ok for me to ask how high. Im really excited to start this Spring!!!!
