I took the NCLEX last Thursday afternoon. Did the PVT TWICE when I got home (after my status was "delivery successful" and got two good pop - ups. Paid the $8 to Pearson Vue on Saturday afternoon to be assured that I did, indeed, pass.
Just waiting on my BON to update with my license number!
It feels so good to be DONE!!!
Good luck to all spring test takers!
My prep work:
I took a HURST Review (live), looked over and studied all the HURST material for a week afterwards, took the NCLEX.
My timeline:
Graduated December 16. Had all info into my BON and had registered with Pearson Vue.
December 29, got my ATT.
January 3 - 5, took HURST Review
January 6 - 11, studied HURST materials, question banks/rationales
January 12 - took NCLEX, got good pop up
January 14 - got Pearson Vue "PASS" result.

I do not belive you.Do you work for HURST or something????????b/c it is a Horrible review and your time frame does not add up....................not bitter just honest.
How does my time frame not add up? It's exactly how it happened. :)
And no, I do not work for HURST... LOL... but I did enjoy their live review. It definitely helped me bring back some information that I had stored in the recesses from the first few semesters!!
We had Kaplan thru our school, and I utilized the qbanks, etc during my last semester of school. I chose not to attend the Kaplan review.

Congrats!!!
As to luv2 - I graduated December 16th, took NCLEX on December 29th and got my RN license on Jan. 3. I'm not sure how the time frame doesn't make sense to you. It can be done!

Hurst worked for me. 75 questions. Graduated Mothers Day, May of 2010, took my boards June 1st and passed. I did hurst online, and had been studying since April. Of all the study guides I looked at -- Saunders, Kaplan, ATI, etc. -- the Hurst questions were the most like the "real thing."

What about her time frame doesn't add up? It was nearly 4 weeks between when she graduated and took NCLEX, that's plenty of time. I took NCLEX something like 3 weeks after I graduated from college.

Really? Because you sound bitter and quite mean-spirited.
To the OP, you'll have to change your ID from SN to RN...! Congratulations!

Congratulations!!
I remember the olden days, when I took the NCLEX for LPN. I graduated August 20. The next available test date was OCTOBER 18th, I believe. (There were only 2 dates a year, Oct and April). I received my results by MAIL December 6th!!!! You sat in a huge room with, like 1200 others testing. You raised your hand if you needed something and were escorted individually to the bathroom, where your escort stood outside the door to make sure you did not cheat and pee at the same time!! OH, the Dood old days!!!
