Hi to all! I passed the nclex last 2008. I just got my SSN last month as an employer based immigrant. Just a week ago, I submitted my Completed Application for Licensure by Examination including a U.S. social security number as instructed by the CA BON. My school also forwarded the needed documents.
My questions are:
Has someone gone through the same thing as I am?
What happened?
Did they release your license or not?
If yes: How long did you wait for your license?
If not: What did they say? Can you send me a copy? Did they make you do further studies?
--As i have said, I am on employment based petition, so with this, my employer is waiting for my license. With this, my life is on hold. I hope to be enlightened with this. Thank you so much.
As a friendly reminder, make sure that you guys always send your paperwork via some kind of "signature confirmation" tracking method, whether it be with the US Post Office, FedEx, UPS etc so that you'll at least know your package was received and was acknowldeged.
It will be worth the small extra cost for little bit more peace of mind and especially if you're dealing with personal checks or even a money order.
Having to "stop payment" on a lost or stolen check can not only be time consuming but expen$ive depending on what your bank charges for the $ervice or the length of time that needs to lapse before some money order companies allows you to file for a replacement one (some I heard you can't file until after 30-45 days from the date of issuance).
There's always the slight possibility that the CA BRN or any other businesses or services can make the human mistake of posting a payment to the wrong account or gets posted but didn't register (computer glitch on their side) or get lost in the piles of paperwork etc.
Thank You!!, i sent my app on August 8 and they cased the money on the 21st and waiting. So i guess the notice on their website about processing the June thing isnt very accurate right?

you mean breeze right?? am sooooo stressed, i am worried coz ion their site it says they ae still processing the june apps
Hi there! You're lucky that the BRN already cashed your payment. I sent my app packet earlier than yours but my payment havent cleared yet. Atleast now youre just waiting for your name to appear on breeze.
I just hope my app will be processed asap. Likewise to you.
