Hi to all! I passed the nclex last 2008. I just got my SSN last month as an employer based immigrant. Just a week ago, I submitted my Completed Application for Licensure by Examination including a U.S. social security number as instructed by the CA BON. My school also forwarded the needed documents.
My questions are:
Has someone gone through the same thing as I am?
What happened?
Did they release your license or not?
If yes: How long did you wait for your license?
If not: What did they say? Can you send me a copy? Did they make you do further studies?
--As i have said, I am on employment based petition, so with this, my employer is waiting for my license. With this, my life is on hold. I hope to be enlightened with this. Thank you so much.

I graduated from Butuan Doctors College in Mindanao.
I did not call them i just do what others do here, send all the necessary documents.
Actually 2 of us here has kinda different situations coz we both endorsed ours to NY and we want to get a license here also. If you read previous messages you'll find Mishanbee, and she has a license now. So i am hoping and praying too that they will grant me.

That's a relief that i dont need to call them. I've sent so many inquiries thru emails, mails and phone calls but not luck with their reply. So i just sent them the documents as what my friend from PH told me to do. Was there no additional requirements you needed to send for your endorsement? Btw, did you get your license in NY?
Thats good news for us that we can still make use of our nclex exam even after the expiry date.
And i really hoping and praying that they would grant me cause i dont wanna move to NY to work there.
Right now they dont still get the money from the bank, its almost a month already, i know its to premature but I'm so nervous.
I see. I checked the website a few days ago and saw that the applications whose fees cashed in May are the one's theyre processing at the moment. So i think, its going to take a while before they process ours. Lets just keep our hopes up and pray harder ?

You go to CA BRN website. Click APPLICATIONS, under that click EXAM then on top it says CLICK HERE FOR OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING APPLICATION.. After it opens it says on top "CURRENT INFORMATION REGARDING APPLICATION".. Its right there..

Hi miles214, i've read that you submitted the Nursing Verification Program form to your school along with the other documents. I am just confused whether I really need to send it too because from what i understood from that form, you just need that if your school provided you accommodation due to your disability. Instead, i submitted the Individual Candidate Roster form to my school. Im afraid I made a mistake with that. Pls help me be enlightened with this. Thank you

Yes I submitted the Verification Program form,Request of Transcript form,Breakdown of EducationalProgram for International Nursing Programs to my School and then I ask someone to mail them to CABON using the school envelope. I hope you will ask someone to submit the Verification Program form to your school and mail it to CABON to avoid delays of processing of your license. Goodluck!

After mailing the application, they cashed out the money after a month, almost 3 weeks after i see my name in their website, last tuesday i received the pocket already.. So almost 2 months all in all..
