Hi to all! I passed the nclex last 2008. I just got my SSN last month as an employer based immigrant. Just a week ago, I submitted my Completed Application for Licensure by Examination including a U.S. social security number as instructed by the CA BON. My school also forwarded the needed documents.
My questions are:
Has someone gone through the same thing as I am?
What happened?
Did they release your license or not?
If yes: How long did you wait for your license?
If not: What did they say? Can you send me a copy? Did they make you do further studies?
--As i have said, I am on employment based petition, so with this, my employer is waiting for my license. With this, my life is on hold. I hope to be enlightened with this. Thank you so much.
Hi hazelilagan! Did you call the 1-800 number to contact the board? I called their main line but i get nowhere when i follow the voice prompt. I wanna try calling them to follow up as well.:)

I called the main line... You just need to be patient, coz most of the time the line is busy... And wait till you get to the customer service representative.. And it will take like 30 mins before a csr can entertain you.. Lol! But it's worth the wait!
Hi guys! S, o i got to contact BONCali after being on hold for around an hour and 15 mins. Funny i even got to take a shower while I was on hold. Haha! Anyway, the guy i spoke to told me that it will take 3 months more from today for me license to be issued. They have too much backlog, he says. He also said that contact info of the evaluator is no longer given. He told me that he was sorry that's not what i wanted to hear but it is what it is. .......

Awwww! Thats sad, but keep on hoping and praying something good will happen! i also waited for almost 6months before i got a positive result from the CA BON... Think positive!
Hi! My evaluator sent a reply email and she drop some of the requirements that comes from the school.She required me to send my transcript, do i have to ask again my school to send to my evaluator?thanks.

my evaluator required me to sent name change form,sss,phil license copy,diploma,transcript,passport all pages, and clearance of fingerprints.It was not stated if my transcript will be coming from school.

another question is could it be possible to transfer nclex result/score to another state even the letter was expired?..

When you submitted your application did you do a request for transcript to your school? If not then maybe that is the reason they are asking it now. Just remember whatever they ask from you, submit it in the soonest of time to avoid any delays on your application. Look on the brighter side they already dropped some of the requirements so it is only a matter of time now till you get your license. Good luck!

Hi rhowie, as for your first concern you can definitely use your married name when applying. Just make sure you attach your marriage certificate together with the other important documents (old passing letter etc.) when you re-apply. I also believe they have a form for name change but if you think you file has expired then no need for that.
For your last question I think it is not possible to endorse something that is expired. The best way to do it is get your CA license then apply for endorsement to whatever state you want. Hope this helps and good luck!
