Hi to all! I passed the nclex last 2008. I just got my SSN last month as an employer based immigrant. Just a week ago, I submitted my Completed Application for Licensure by Examination including a U.S. social security number as instructed by the CA BON. My school also forwarded the needed documents.
My questions are:
Has someone gone through the same thing as I am?
What happened?
Did they release your license or not?
If yes: How long did you wait for your license?
If not: What did they say? Can you send me a copy? Did they make you do further studies?
--As i have said, I am on employment based petition, so with this, my employer is waiting for my license. With this, my life is on hold. I hope to be enlightened with this. Thank you so much.

Hi miles214. I did not go through that process in checking my status. I just checked it through license verification if my name was there already. Mine took about a little over 2 months. Keep you hopes and prayers up. Your license will come. Goodluck!
Hi cichlid! Unfortunately I did not check my status through logging in to Breeze. I just checked a few times a day through license verification. It took about a little over 2 months since they took out my money in the bank to seeing my name online. I'm pretty sure your license will come. Good luck!

omg! The ca BRN asked a lot of requirements...clinical rotations,logbook etc....I passed the ca RN March 2010.Guys any helpful suggestions.Thanks a lot!
Hi miles214! I'm sorry to hear that. They also sent me a letter asking for a copy of my SSN and all the pages of my passport. I don't know if I will be receiving another letter asking for the same things as you posted they did. I hope your school will be able to provide them. Good luck!

Did you submit your old passing letter together with your application? I'm assuming you did not thus the additional requirements.

Thanks cichlid...Hi evanchoy yes i did not included my passing letter together with my application. I sent my pass letter after a month after I read the threads here. Im planning to sent again my application form,pass letter, us sss copy,diploma, phil. license photocopy, a letter as well. Do I have to ask my school to send again my school transcripts?

miles214 I don't think you have to submit an application form again it would just complicate the situation. Go back a few pages in this same thread and you'll find somebody having the same situation as what you are having. He/she forgot to mail the old passing letter together with the application. He/she just called the CA BON and told them she already passed the exam before and they dropped the additional requirements they were asking. Why don't you try calling them first then see what they think about your care. Best of luck!
