Hi to all! I passed the nclex last 2008. I just got my SSN last month as an employer based immigrant. Just a week ago, I submitted my Completed Application for Licensure by Examination including a U.S. social security number as instructed by the CA BON. My school also forwarded the needed documents.
My questions are:
Has someone gone through the same thing as I am?
What happened?
Did they release your license or not?
If yes: How long did you wait for your license?
If not: What did they say? Can you send me a copy? Did they make you do further studies?
--As i have said, I am on employment based petition, so with this, my employer is waiting for my license. With this, my life is on hold. I hope to be enlightened with this. Thank you so much.

miles214 I don't think you have to submit an application form again it would just complicate the situation. Go back a few pages in this same thread and you'll find somebody having the same situation as what you are having. He/she forgot to mail the old passing letter together with the application. He/she just called the CA BON and told them she already passed the exam before and they dropped the additional requirements they were asking. Why don't you try calling them first then see what they think about your care. Best of luck!
Hi evanchoy! thanks for your advice..I called the CABON and the operator asked my us sss#,verified that I passed by giving my file# and the recent letter entitty# that I received from the evaluator, she told me to email the evaluator. I just emailed the evaluator I don't how many days ,weeks, months to wait for her reply.

Thats great news! As far as when you'll get your license, only CA BON knows how long. You will be fine just hang tight.

Hi there sammywhammy, I'm assuming that your exam validity expired also? If so, you have to reapply as if you were going to take the exam again only this time include a copy of your ss number, passing letter. If you need more information read this whole thread and you'll get all the info that you will need. It's about 2 1/2 months wait for my license so read this thread carefully and good luck!

Hi miles! They were asking me to send my RLE documents, but i didnt send those.. I just gave them my ss card and my passed letter.. Its been 6 months since then that i havent heard anything from tha CA BON, so i tried calling them last week jan21, to follow up my case,.. They ask me all the questions that they asked you when you called them and gave me the direct contact info to my evaluator, that same day, i emailed my evaluator and she even replied to me right away. After 1 week, i already got my certificate packet... But i dont know it yet if when i will have my license id...

Thanks a lot hazelilagan. I hope my evaluator will reply to my email regarding my case and won't ask a lot of requirements.
