Hello everyone!
I created this thread for those who are interested or applying to the residency program at Parkland for the summer 2020. I'm hoping this thread is helpful for those wanting to talk and ask questions. Good luck to everyone!

? I didn’t think that one was that bad. Lol! I think they just want to know that you’re not arrogant or a know-it-all. You’re supposed to be afraid as a new grad. A little bit of fear can help prevent mistakes. It’s arrogance that’s scary. Good luck to you, friend! I’m sure you did great!

Do you guys know how many they’re hiring for the unit?

Have you checked the requirements? Just asking because some places (like Cook Children’s) won’t take former LVNs in a new grad residency. They say being an LVN counts as professional nursing experience. ??♀️

I been a LVN for 7 years and all the residencies I applied to said my previous LVN won't count towards nursing experience I'll basically be starting over.
