I thought I'd start a thread about anyone currently applying to any of the OHSU Nursing programs for the 2014 cohort. I currently have three applications in with them: Accelerated BSN to MSN: Psychiatric Mental Health, Accelerated BSN, and the traditional BSN Program. Has anyone had any word from them? I know that the Accel. programs have closed both their applications. Any word on interviews or scheduling?
I am currently finishing up my preqs at PCC. I am working full-time and am just flustered. I hate not knowing anything with regard to where I stand or what type of candidate they are looking for.
Does anyone else feel similarly?

Has anyone gotten any word? They've started to email me about scholarships but I haven't even gotten an acceptance yet?! Is there a way to check the status online?
I haven't heard anything yet. Was told decisions for the PMHNP program would not be made for at least three weeks. Today I'm trekking up to Seattle for an interview with Seattle University tomorrow.
Oh man. I got emails last year from the school of nursing and then I got my rejection letter and was not so happy to see those emails coming every week. Come to think of it... I still get them.
What is the living situation like in Oregon? I've never been to the state. I was on craigslist and zillow yesterday and what I saw for my budget looked really crappy. $1000 or less.

It all depends on where you're applying. If you applied to the Portland OHSU campus, you should be able to find something within that range. That is, if you're looking for an apartment. If you need a house, that will prove to be much more difficult.
If you applied to any of the satellite campuses, You should be able to find something in that range; either house or apartment.
You can find some good places for that in Portland. Portland is difficult to figure out until you come see the neighborhoods - then it makes more sense. Where are you coming from?
