Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020

World Canada CA Programs

Updated:   Published

Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?

I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:

1. Queen's

2. McMaster

3. York

4. Humber-UNB

Oh WOW! That is serious. I wonder if any spot will ever open up for people on waitlist. Please who did you email for enquiry?

I emailed Humber nursing admission manager/officer whatever her position was! it was about 3.5 weeks ago that I inquired about, and she said the top 20 is already set, with the cut off being 3.4/4.0.

"I cannot disclose how many applicants are on the waitlist, but I can tell you that we have complied a list of the Top 20 applicants who applied in February and have a GPA higher than 3.4.

Since you are not in the top 20, the chances become less likely. Although, there are no guarantees and its unpredictable what can happen. If students within the top 20 are not interested, we will continue to work with the other waitlisted applicants who applied in March and April".

^ this is the email I got.

Long story short I didn't apply! I wanted to apply late thinking I wouldn't get into uoft. but then it was already may so I wanted to double-check with them first before I spend 15 dollars for a transcript order LOL.

Hey! So last year I received my waitlist offer from Western on May 31st, which was the last Friday of the month, and was rejected by U of T the last Friday of June LOL. There's still time!

Hey guys!! Does anyone know if internal applicants to Uoft have to send in final transcripts as well? Thanks! ?

Anyone attending Lakehead for the compressed program?

Has anyone received a rejection letter from U of T yet?
