Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?
I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:
1. Queen's
2. McMaster
3. York
4. Humber-UNB
For those of you who got rejected by UofT last year and got accepted this year I was wondering what advice you have or what you have done differently to enhance your application. I applied this year and I have a strong feeling that I am not going to get accepted as I did not go into details of each of my EC's on my supplementary despite having strong ones. I will apply next year as well and plan to make my application stronger by broadening my EC's by volunteering more and gaining more exposure and possibly take some extra courses to enhance my pre-req grades.

Thanks! GPA for my last 5 credits was 3.64 without the Winter term, and 3.7 with it. I volunteered at Toronto Rehab and in a research lab for about 2 years, and was an exec of a science communication club. I think the supplementary application really helped me. I heard that UofT is sending out offers until the end of June, so there's still hope!! Good luck and hopefully I will see you in Sept!

On my PSE, I had a few awards from my first undergrad degree.
ECs:
- Committee on Standing to review students’ academic petitions
- Student treasurer of a $200k budget
- Orientation week executive
- ASIST suicide intervention training and crisis response work
Employment:
- Clinical research at a cancer hospital
- Clinical research at a children’s hospital
- Mental health intake worker for patients with schizophrenia
- Wet lab bench research student
This was what I put for my Queen’s PSE, I submitted back in January 2020 but it worked out well for me ?
Thanks! My status on SOLUS just changed to pending today so fingers crossed!! I also applied in January so I'm glad to see someone from that time got it haha

The letter says "since the place reserved for you is sought by other candidates, should you choose to accept this offer you must do so by the date indicated and according to the instructions on your Offer of Admission". The date is June 1st so perhaps there are other applicants that will accept/decline by Monday and they'll send out the next round at the end of next week? Just speculating
