Which accelerated program is better if my goal is to practice in the US?

I just got accepted to UofT accelerated nursing and I am waiting to hear from Western. I saw that a lot of people have been able to practice in the USA after completing the UofT accelerated nursing. However, I haven't found anything about graduates of Western accelerated nursing and their ability to practice in the USA. I am a little concerned because I want to go to western but I head that there are some topics that are not covered at western such as mental health? (Don't quote me on that) So if previous graduates of western have gone through the equivalency process and been able to practice in the USA, I would like to get your insight and hear your experiences.

Hi there! To practice in some states in the USA you need to have a mental health placement (which UofT offers, unsure of western) otherwise you are unable to practice in that state. That being said, UofT prepares you to be a generalist Canadian nurse.
The official facebook page for UofT Nursing Grad 2026 will be going live later today if you're interested
Hello! Thank you so much. So I think UofT is better if my plan is to practice in the states. Yes I would love that. Could you send me the link?
