Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020

Updated:   Published

Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?

I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:

1. Queen's

2. McMaster

3. York

4. Humber-UNB

Hello everyone!

I am looking to take the courses included in the preparation semester for humber. I require anatomy and pathophysiology. Does anyone know of any universities that provide these credits online?

Thank you!

I think Michener Institute does and Athabasca, but since schools are closed all universities would have their Summer courses online as well! ?

I guess today isn't the day! Unless someone heard back from UofT?

Hi everyone, I just found this forum! I have applied to Western, Trent and Queens. I was wondering if people know general averages for acceptance into those schools (the lowest they'll go) and when most people find out if they've been accepted. Thanks!

Maybe they're delaying because of everything going on?

When I asked they said nothing will be affected because the selection process is entirely online anyway

anybody get accepted to U of T? They usually send out offers on the first Monday of April (based on my creeping previous forums)

I got into York and accepted my offer already but I'm waiting on U of T still! Those are my top 2.

I’m in first year at uoft and didn’t get my acceptance until April 15! It will come but it may be a bit of a wait. For reference, the rejection emails got sent out first followed by those who got accepted. All within the same day though iirc.

I got in March 16 and my GPA for my last year was a 3.78 and my overall is 3.3. I'm assuming my CASPER went better than I expected because my GPA isn't amazing haha.

Congratulations!

Out of curiosity, did you complete your undergrad degree at York? I have looked through their requirements and it seems like it is geared towards requirements necessary for their undergrad degree... I never completed physiology or philosophy coursework, for example, because it wasn't necessary for my undergrad program.

No, I'm actually finishing up a Biology degree at Brock University. I had a bunch of electives left when I finished up my 3rd year so I used them to finish up the requirements for York. I just took physiology and philosophy this last semester haha.

Hi everyone! Just wondering if anyone's heard from western yet.
