Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?
I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:
1. Queen's
2. McMaster
3. York
4. Humber-UNB

Does anyone know if there is any update from McMaster?
Hey! I sent an email to ask a question about pre-requisites/final grades, and received an automated email that included this info:
"Admissions Information
Unfortunately, we must temporarily pause the processing of your application for admission until April 5, 2020. This decision will be re-evaluated after April 6 with any updates being posted on our website.
Please do not send any documentation to [email protected] until we return to normal operations.
Information regarding transferring from another university or college is available on our University and College Transfer page."
I'm assuming we won't be hearing from McMaster for a while?

Their website has been updated to say that documents can now be sent to the emails they posted. You can find this info if you Google mcmaster covid FAQ and look under the admissions tab ? So I’m assuming they’re reviewing applications from home now

I just received my acceptance to Dalhousie which I’ll be accepting. So there will be 3 extra seats for people, at queens, western and Humber. I hope everyone is staying positive through these dreary months?

Congratulations?. I am waiting on Humber and it’s the only school I applied to. I hope I get in as spots open up. I was waitlisted some weeks back

OMG CONGRATULATIONS! If you don't mind me asking, what's your GPA in your last 5 credits? Your ECs?
Hi everyone,
I also just got accepted to U of T, it's on my Join account but I haven't gotten an email yet. Best of luck to all ❤️

Sorry I've had to edit this so many times because I'm shaking*
Thank you!! ? cGPA: 3.87, last 5 credits: 4.0
My ECs are basically only research based: undergrad thesis, two years of lab outside of that, clinical research post-grad diploma and some associated conference abstracts and publications.
I was worried because I have no healthcare volunteer experience at all. My only 'volunteer' experience was signing up for the health and safety committee at my part-time job.
This just goes to show that they take a wide variety of things into consideration so don't worry if one aspect isn't your strong suit!
Good luck to everyone and I'm excited to meet you all in the fall!
