  1. Hey! I can’t speak for Mac but for UofT, I was admitted with putting a general Health Sci course and a Kin course for my two science prereqs. So I don’t believe they have much preference but obviously IDK! Hope this kinda helped.
  2. Thank you! I don’t know if they calculated my Winter 2020 grades but I had a 3.7 in my final year! I believe I checked my joinID around 4:00pm, not too sure though sorry!!
  3. I JUST RECEIVED MY ADMISSION! I'm shaking oh my god
  4. That’s really helpful to know thank you! The wait is nerve wracking!
  5. Hey! I applied with the same average and similar experience (I worked as a PSW) and in the same boat with you fretting about CASPer/getting in. From reading the last 2 years’ forums & the stats posted by UBC, I believe the accepted average falls around 80-82% each year. Hopefully this means there was a range of grades from 70-90! I’m not too sure what their cutoff is though. UBC is one of the schools who look holistically so I’m sure we’ll both have a fair shot ?
  6. I also got the same message! I'm wondering the same.
  7. OMG CONGRATULATIONS! If you don't mind me asking, what's your GPA in your last 5 credits? Your ECs?
  8. Okay that's so helpful to know! Thank you so much!
  9. Hi!! How are you liking the program? Is it more theory-based or would you say you get a decent amount of hands-on experience? Also - I know they calculate your average based on your last 5.0 credits. I took some courses in the summer so I have a total of 4.5 credits from that and my first semester in fourth year. Do you know if they would take the grade for my last 0.5 credit from the highest or lowest grade in my second semester of third year, or the average? Thanks so much! I really hope I get in!
  10. Hi everyone! I’m so happy to see this forum, I’ve been looking for one for a while! I’m in my fourth year at Western, graduating in April with a Psychology degree. I’m expected to have a 3.87 GPA for my last 5.0 courses, I work as a Personal Support Attendant, also volunteer at Alzheimers Society and as a tutor for children with learning disabilities. My top choice is UofT, but also applying to Western, UBC, and Queens. Definitely a little nervous as I’m not sure if my ECs are enough! Looking forward to chatting with everyone :)
