Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?
I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:
1. Queen's
2. McMaster
3. York
4. Humber-UNB

If you accept one offer and then accept another offer, it will cancel the first offer you accepted. I believe that's what happens.

Hey! I asked the nursing counselor recently and she said last year they were looking at around mid 80s to be safe..? But it also depends on the group that applies each year.

But she loves it.
And congrats to everyone that got accepted!!
ohh okay thank you! ?
Hi everyone,
just need some advice here. I am currently taking microbiology however im not doing too well in the course. I understand the material (or at least thats what i think) but im doing poorly on the tests. Before doing the tests, i was sure that im going to get at least an 80 because i knew the information so well but ended up with a 54. Any tips on how I should study for this? maybe im not studying right.

Hey, I took Microbiology last semester at York. The prof I had was very challenging however, I enjoyed the material alot. From the very beginning of the course I knew I had to go home after lecture and lecture myself about the material. I literally (no joke) bought a separate notebook aside from my notes I made in lecture, and did my more notes at home. I would suggest you try this method, and don't shy away from drawing out diagrams if u need to (this really helped, even though I can draw for ish). Also, even if u dont have 3-4 hours a day to study, 1 hour a day makes a difference. You'll be fine, like I always tell myself the journey is hard, but it will surely pay off.
Thats exactly what i do!! After each lecture, i teach myself the concepts at home and re write all the notes. Thats why i was surpirsed to see how bad i had done. Which prof did you have? I have ********** and i just find his questions are tricky. Not sure how im going to get a B in this class. So scared ?
