hey guys,
has anyone heard of university of cincinnati online anp practitioner program or frontier nursing online. Is it possible to get in with a 2.67 undergraduate bsn gpa and a 3.7 gpa in my mba program. I have 3 more classes in my mba to graduate. what are my chances of getting in. If you know any more adavanced nursing programs online that I might have a chance to get in? Give me feedback please.
I will be emailing you too re the ANP curriculum from UC, Nurseblondi. I am seeking an online school as well to complete my ANP. When I called St Louis Univ recenty, I was told it was $925.00 a cr hr.
Dixiecup, can you tell me how the courses ware laid out? How many you took in one quarter etc and how long the program took. I can't find this info on their site. Barinbass
You get assigned an advisor and they set up a degree plan for you and your classes have to be taken in that order.
I guess you can take as many a semester as you can handle but I only took two per semester because I worked full time. I don't think I could have handled more than three even if I wasn't working but I had some classmates that were taking four a semester, I really don't know how they managed it.
I just got a letter denying me admission to University of Colorado at Colorado Springs' online MSN program. I would have been a transfer student. The letter said that my GPA didn't meet their standard, but the requirement is a 3.0 per their website. My undergrad GPA is 3.689. I have made H's and P's all through Grad school thus far. That equates to A's and B's. Although you cannot average the grad school grades into the undergrad GPA, if you could, I made no grade below a 3.0. I think that either I have taken too much already or they have an age limit. I am a nontraditional student, and the three I have applied to DO ask birthdate in their applications. One is left and they do not meet until November. I am very concerned that I will never get into another school to finish. Gonna talk to UCSC and see why I was denied admission. I left a message seeking clarification at the number in the letter. They called me back today. Barinbass.

I spoke / emailed with Margo (the admission councelor for the ANP program at U of C). They do not support someone leaving their job nor do they support someone keep working. she indicated that if one needs to keep a full time job, then you should reconsider the U of C program. she also stated that they do not recommend taking a leave of absence (i.e. if you have a medical emergency or the like).
Anyone of the blog that has recently graduated or is in the program at U of C & can shed light on if it is pssible to work full time & not be overwhelmed with course work?
