Hey Guys, Question, are there any advance practice nursing programs online such nurse practitioner that will accept a gpa of 2.67 undergraduate bsn. Also I have completed 24 graduated level courses in business. What are the name of the schools online willing to accept my low gpa. I need help you guys. I'm really stressing out.

i am a new graduate nurse and i start my new job in a nursing home in a couple of days. they are putting me in charge of the entire west wing, involving 25 patient bed, 3 cnas and 1 lpn. i will have a preceptor to train me for 1 month. my goal is to become a director of nursing in either a hospital or nursing home; and then maybe a chief nursing officer of a hospital. my question to you guys is that you do you see me going the right path, by going into this management position in nursing home. is my experience equal to the experience in the hospital? can you guys give me advice on the correct ladder to pursue both positions as a don and a cno. i am pursing my mba and will graduate in 16 months.

Here is what i did to pass the nclex. 1.)Use the random fact throwing on this discussion board 2.)Proiority, delegation, and assignment book by lacharity, bartz and somebody else. 3.)Kaplan Q bank; not the Q trainers. 4.)Far as meds look and the medications on t.v.; also know the basics beta blockers ends in lol, and so forth. Know what you check for when giving beta blockers- bp and pulse and ace inhibitors- pulse. Also drugs ending in statin control cholesterol. 5.) Pay attention to airborne, droplet, and contact precautions. There is a way you can remember which diseases go with each other in the random fact throwing in the discussion board. 6.)LOOK AT THE DISCUSSION BOARD FOR RANDOM FACT THROWING AND GET THE PRIORITY AND DELEGATION AND ASSIGNMENT STATED EARLIER. 85-90% OF MY QUESTIONS CAME FROM THOSE.

cmh, when you say med admin, are there certain type of drugs you're talking about. can you talk about that a little more. and about that priority book, did it help you alot on your priority and delegation questions.
