Well we are through the final hurdle - Embassy went well yesterday and we booked our flights last night- now the massive job of sorting out the house pancking and getting on the plane. We are shell shocked we can not belive that we have finally got to this point.

Congrats! I know this has to be a big move, and it takes alot of courage to actually move to another country. I wish you and your family a very safe trip!

Thanks everyone we fly in to phx on the 7th this will be our last weekend in our house which nolonger feels like our home. For the children it will be there last week in school we will have to see how that goes at the moment they are fine. OG has finished work and I have my last shift as a midwife on sunday lets hope i have a good last shft it may be the last time I ever deliver a baby......................

oh I remember how exciting and scary it all was! and no it will not be the last time you deliver a baby, not if you work in OB,, I've not been around much being PRN and I've managed to catch 2!

i dont suppose you asked those idiots where my visa had got to while you were there?!?

Thanks claire I am sure your visa wil be on its way soon.....we that is OG and my self were really freeked out at the embassy when she asked us to raise our right hand and we thought omg she is going to ask us to swear allegence to the flag but she said do you swear you are telling the truth we ended up saying we do or i do it was like our wedding all over again but we were both so shocked we thought she was joking at first but it was no joke and that was it she said how healthy we all were and that she wished us good luck and good bye and do not open the envelopes marked do not open she told us this a few times she was a lovely lady
