I think that the Threads here on AN.com should be like stories, i.e. they should contain the opening post as the introduction, the discussion as the body, and then have some sort of resolution as the conclusion.
Too often we never find out what happened- no closure.
I need closure!
What I think is funny is when it's a combination of the two - someone asks a question, a bunch of people give feedback, and then 5 years later, someone else bumps the thread up, asking the OP (who hasn't been back to the site in 5 years) what they ended up doing. Um, bud, I don't think the OP is going to respond.
Sometimes the OP does come back and respond after five years. I swear I've seen at at least once, and maybe even twice.
Yes, did that woman end up wearing a bra to work?Did the deers get that nursing student?
WHAT ABOUT THE PARABENS, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD???
Did the new grad quit her job?
Did the bullied nurse file a complaint with the BON?
Did the male nurse work things out with his wife who objected to the office party?
He was in some Miami Vice type movie...my Sweet Petunia has seen it about 50 times. She would run off with him or Mike Rowe in a heartbeat.
Petunia's into Collin Ferrell, eh? Belinda's really into Freddie Mercury and Queen. For her 59th birthday, among many other gifts showered upon her, I took her to see Bohemian Rhapsody.
You know, we're suppose to be talking about nursing here on the General Discussion forum,so let's get back on track:

Are you saying you don't want choose-your-own-adventure style stories?Alternately, we could go to a fan-fiction style of response, where if the OP doesn't follow up in say, a month, then we have the option of making up a juicy, action-packed ending to the story.
I like the way you think, Daisy Joyce.
