Just a somewhat off topic question - did anyone have trouble with Nursing CAS? I'm pretty sure my application wasn't even reviewed after calling today - due to a mix up with a transcript. Disappointed but was accepted elsewhere. Just wondering if anyone else had issues.

I had trouble with NursingCAS last year when my first of 6 transcripts never arrived. By the time they arrived and were verified, the interviews were over and they hadn't even had a chance to look at my application. Then something similar happened this time with them asking for a transcript from a university I didn't go since last cycle, but because I was co-enrolled the university indicated I was enrolled for that term in Microbiology (but I was actually enrolled at the community college and not the university), therefore I was informed in mid January I needed an updated transcript from PSU. It delayed the verification until the end of last week. I did call OHSU and they said it had been sent for review, but I don't know if it was too late at that point. Incredibly frustrating that it happened two years in a row (and I sent my transcripts as soon as grades posted in December). Having been to so many schools (a few schools back east before a vocational midwifery college, and then my bachelor's here in Portland with PSU and PCC) my application just seemed to accumulate potential snags, regardless of how careful and thorough I tried to be. Good luck, I hope that they were able to review it. (For others who may have a similar issue; Admissions will review the process in June if you're interested in scheduling a review with them what happened and how to strengthen your application.) Did Nursing CAS notify you there was an issue with your transcript or did you have to call OHSU to find out? I'm worried they never reviewed my application.

Did NursingCAS tell you there was a mix up or did they "verify" your application? Because mine has been "verified" for quite some time now, but after all the issues everyone is listing, I hardly trust that.

Hi everyone!

I have some potentially good news. I just called OHSU and was told that they are still sending out interview invites for PMHNP. :) She also looked at my application and verified that they had all the needed from me, so I suggest that anyone with concerns also call!

Verified they had all they needed from me too, thank goodness. Still waiting to know about interviews, so that's stressful and annoying but at least there isn't one more thing to worry about!

Hi All! Has anyone done Skype interview with OSHU? It's pretty nerve wracking to hear that they may continue to call people for interviews until the last interview day - the 13th for PMHNP. But when I asked her if they offered Skype interviews for last minute she said she wasn't sure.

Thoughts?

I think someone posted on one of these threads that they did have a Skype interview.

I can see how that would be just impossible for someone from out of town to be notified the day of their interview :eek: and have to be there in person

Some people have definitely had Skype interviews!
