Hello! Has anyone out there applied to the Entry Master's Program at Ohio State for the Summer 2016 start?
@Toothless, I did not catch that you were a re-applicant. I think last year I was pretty naive about how competitive all the specialties are, and how much that changes year-to-year. I hated the LikeLive process and questions last year. I don't think we had breathing room between questions, but this year, we did. That was a huge relief.
I just want to know one way or the other! Ack! If I don't get accepted to OSU, I will look at MSJ.
Hi Kbuss_14,
I read your comment about having 4 interview questions. I only had 3. Did everyone have four? It went so fast (and I took it the very next day after the invite), so I'm having a hard time recalling if the questions automatically moved to the next and so on....but I do remember I did about 3 practice questions to get comfortable with it all and then started the actual interview and was surprised when it ended after the 3rd question. So now I'm nervous if I missed a question or something! I was going to say that maybe they have a different number of questions depending on the specialty, but I think you said you applied to Women's Health, and so did I. So now I'm just nervous that I messed up some how!?
Tuition is ~$7,661 for a full time student that has Ohio residency. More for non-ohio resident. Here's a link to the fee table. http://registrar.osu.edu/feetables/Web_AU15_Fee_Table/indiv_tables_au15/GRAD_Nursing%20(Students%20Admitted%20Autumn%202013%20and%20After).pdf
I am so nervous now - because I keep wrecking my brain thinking if I thought wrong and there maybe were 4 questions?! I know that I did about 3 practice questions before moving on to the actual interview. Maybe I'm confused? I don't know if it even is possibly to miss a question. I can't remember...ahhh. Anyway, I do know that there wasn't anything specific to my specialty that was asked....more like generalized questions.
I'm going to try not to think too much about it though because I think I will drive myself crazy. Just wanted to wish everyone happy holidays and hopefully we can all update each other with good news soon.

I thought the interview questions this year were better as well. I felt fairly confident in my interview.
I am still pretty nervous about my application though I have improved immensely from last year. I don't expect to hear back from them until next year, I do wish it was sooner. I applied for FNP and psych. I know FNP is hard to get into hence the nervousness
