Ive had a couple of emails from people about this, it sounds horrendous.

Thankyou, I am under no illusion about how long the will take, my solicitor has gone through everything with me, they are in breach of contract if they threaten to withdraw sponsership if people don't sign and they know it, why do you think they are not putting any of these threats in writing? OGP will be receiving notice from him very soon.

Well done beth - you will win while you are waiting you are out of contract cos they have breeched it go with another company who will be able to pick things up and get you over to the states - ogp loss.

Well done Beth - I sure look forward to reading about your success - hopefully in the National & Nursing Press!! that'll teach 'em!!

I'm not with OGP so I can say what I like because they don't know who I am & even if they did it wouldn't matter one jot! THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you take them to the cleaners & some because it would be a lesson to other agencies in the field too!

The nursing press are not interested in looking into OGP as I have personnally contacted them and the RCN and nobody bothered to reply. I would be willing to stand up and inform the world how I have been treated, but not on here. I want to be represented by a professional organisation.

Yes she probably is but believe me there are recruiters here in Phoenix who are waiting for nurses in the UK with sign on bonus's. Half of the hospitals dont know how to recruit from the UK and rely on agencies who charge them a fortune in fact they probably charge them $45000

Are you still a member of the RCN? As i know that they have an international adviser for members.

That's a shame because that was one thing I was going to suggest -would they still not be interested if they suddenly received a flood of calls from all of you on here who have been shafted by OGP in this way though??? Might be worth a try!

RCN is less likely to care (although I think they should because they carry ads from OGP in their magazine)) but the NT might start to think about it if they suddenly receive a flood of calls/letters/emails all saying the same thing about a company who places ads in their magazines just about every week.

Maybe someone could design a letter to form a template & then we can all send it on one day to the NT?? Both those who are personally affected & those who have heard about it could participate.

I'm no activist or trouble maker but I don't like to see my fellow nurses treated in this way by anybody.

I am going to speak with my Union anytime this week, UNISON, they will be able to help me with advice and they can give legal support.. This will give me more insight thay everything that is happening at the moment is not right from this agency.. Is anybody with Unison and ever tried to bring this issue( ammendments, harassments and blackmail, guarntor signing) about nurses and this agency before?...I want this issue to be raised up with them...
