Unless the original contract says they can change it at a later date it should be. I'd consult a lawyer.
the changes or ammendments of contract and guarantor signing given by OGP is making me more upset than the retrogression....

You certainly aren't the only one not to sign, I haven't and I know of several people who also haven't and have no intention of doing so. If you have the original contract, its says that amendments cannot be made without the agreement of both parties, so if you dont agree, dont do it, there is nothing they can do.

They phoned me yesterday... I said I am not signing ,,most esp my husband on the guarantor Issue... I phoned them just... and they are not happy about what i said.. And how dare them, they are willing to convince my husband by phoning him tom...( He might not speak to them, anyway).. I can feel the pressure and the push and I am sooooo stressed with it... They said IT IS COMPULSARY!!!! Would you believe?? Comments pleaseeee..

Tell them to go stick it!! If you've signed a contract already I'm sure they can't change it now - check your small print! Also, if you've already got way down the road with them then they probably won't want to risk losing you now so they might be just trying it on.
Especially with you English Nurse - you're all but there so you are in a very strong position indeed!
For those who have a long way to go there are other ways, tell them you'll go elsewhere - vote with your feet!! Unless you've already filed I-140 you'll find you won't even lose time - other agencies or Direct hire hospitals (if you already have N-CLEX) will snap you up!!

contract allows them to change, still not signing, the whole process is doing my head in we are beginning to wonder if it is all worth it:uhoh3:
I had them on the phone yesterday claiming the previous contract allows them to change, still not signing, the whole process is doing my head in we are beginning to wonder if it is all worth it:uhoh3:
Have you actually checked out your previous contract though?
I still can't believe they are treating you all like that! I hope others who are thinking of signing with them are reading this thread!
