ogp nurses and retrogression

hi, my friend recieved a letter today telling her that her visa interview may be delayed until 2007 due to the retrogression being lifted

i wonder if any of you on here have also recieved the same letter, she is very upset at the thought of it taking so much longer?

anyone?

we feel a bit confused as i thought this only effected nurses from the pic countries she is english, so how has this had a negative effect on her immigration

Can anyone shed any more light?

Doesn't anyone have a relative/know someone/slept with someone/is sleeping with someone/had dinner with someone/sat on a train next to someone working in the US Embassy? I haven't.

Got it thanks. Still not sure what it all means to us - although it looks bleak on the face of it.

I'm currently neck and neck with Ashley's wife in Coronation Street in the depression stakes, albeit mine isn't post natal and her's isn't immigration based

Many of the nurses that OGP processes are not from the UK, they are from other countries and working in the UK. They will be strongly affected by the retrogression, you in fact will find things done faster for you.

iwas speaking to ogp today and they said they are finding that things have been speedy lately particularly the i-140 are coming through a little quicker. well thats what they say!!!!!!!!!!!!!:wink2:
