ogp nurses and retrogression

hi, my friend recieved a letter today telling her that her visa interview may be delayed until 2007 due to the retrogression being lifted

i wonder if any of you on here have also recieved the same letter, she is very upset at the thought of it taking so much longer?

anyone?

we feel a bit confused as i thought this only effected nurses from the pic countries she is english, so how has this had a negative effect on her immigration

Crossing everything at the moment.

i suppose that in theory if the visa interviews stop in november then you should be ok if your application goes along at the same speed mine has.

this is just a guess mind you

Can anyone shed any more light?

Doesn't anyone have a relative/know someone/slept with someone/is sleeping with someone/had dinner with someone/sat on a train next to someone working in the US Embassy? I haven't.
