If you are taking NCLEX in October as I am here is a place to get motivated. As of today you have approximately 4-8 weeks to prepare for this life changing test. That is more than enough time if you haven't started yet.
Now crack open whatever review book you have and hit it because now is the time to begin. Start typing :typing those review sheets, looking over rationales start with the stuff you know you need help with and feel like because by the end of your study time you'll be up to the stuff you do know and you'll hopefully feel more comfortable at test time... or maybe you won't.
Anybody else motivating tips, or study tips for NCLEX
I am taking NCLEX-PN in October. Very nervous. Been studying Kaplan, and Saunders. Does anyone know if the questions still seem to be focusing on prioritization, delegating and immunizations? Good luck to everyone!!!
Hey toadfrog, I am in the same boat as you are in. I am taking my NCLEX PN in Oct. I am studying Saunders and Kaplan Q-Bank. How is your studying going? I am getting nervous. I haven't been on this website too much lately b/c sometimes I feel like it gives me mixed emotions. One minute I think I am going to pass this thing... and then the next minute after reading some of these threads I feel I am doomed. So I get on every now and then. But focus more on studying. Studying my infection control, lab values, prioritizing. I'm feel like I am ready to tackle this test and be done with it! :)

Hi Brandi! I am doing the Kaplan Q-Bank but only 50 ?'s a day right now. I need to step it up a bit...its so hard to stay motivated. I am with you about feeling like I am going to pass than I get discouraged when I read on her that many have not and some taking for the 3rd time. Unfortuantly I really stuggle w/ the infection control part. I've heard that every so often they change what the NCLEX focuses on so hopefully in Oct. it will still be what we are studying.
How are you doing on the Q-Bank? I only seem to get 50-60's? Are you taking the PN or RN NCLEX? Maybe we could be help encourage each other and throw around ideas if you would like. Seems most my school mates are not to worried about the test as I am.

I am taking the NCLEX PN in October. It's coming quickly! I've been doing the Kaplan too and I have been tryin to do 100 plus questions a day. I did all of the questions on Q-Bank I didn't feel I did all that well. I was ranging in the 50%. I am doing Saunders practice questions and trying to read the book as much as possible. The pharm is killing me. Did you see the thread... on infection control? Contact: Mrs Wee Airborn: My chicken haz TB Droplet: Spiderman? Also I believe there is a thread on here about what precautions to take with each. I've have heard the same thing about changing every so often but I thought it was yearly. Who knows... there is so many rumors on this site it's hard to even know what is right and what's made up??? I mean I am VERY thankful for this site. It's just like I said sometimes messes with my emotions. Yeah I am up for helping motivate and ideas and tips to help each other out. :)
Hi guys i took the nclex last time and did not pass and my ATT is still valid do i need to stil register again. am confuse please help
Sorry to hear you didn't pass. Hold you head up and don't give up!!!
You will have to reregister to take it again and you'll have to pay another fee to take it again. They should send you a packet in the mail and if you didn't pass it will have all of the reregistering stuff in it. It will also let you know how you did on the test. It'll tell you, your weak areas and strong areas. At least in the state that I live this is the way they do it.
