Hey everyone! Im back for my second application into the ADN program at OCC ::sigh:: As I did in the thread I created last year, I am creating a new one for all those applying to the nursing progam for next fall. Lets keep in touch and keep one another updated. Good luck guys!!! :)
I'm going to have to quit this thread for my sanity lol:crying2:
I love you all, but the fact is, none of us knows what will go down until the letters arrive in our hands.
I was reading the thread from last year and someone posted that there would be no accelerated program and that's what a counselor told them, YET there was! I've also heard that this year the letters would be prepared this week and next week from other sources, while other people say that a counselor again told them that the letters would be out early March.
My point? We don't know, and I don't know about the rest of you, but my stomach is in the grinder right now. It was decided months ago. What ever happens, happens and it's out of our hands I guess.
Good luck to everyone. If I don't get in I'll apply for the LPN and bridge - it's only a 3 month later start - but I'm tired of sitting around while OCC tortures us and won't even throw an accurate bone in the meantime.
Amy, Im sure you will be get in, stop worrying.
Mocha Late, the Southfield campus has Pharm in January for LPN students, not in the summer. Im in the program right now. You guys are so lucky, wish I had been able to wait to apply to the RN program, but with this economy I am in a rush to get myself into a paying job, even if it ends up being LTC, while I finish the bridge program.
Ugh! I have a 3.8242 so I hope the gpa cutoff is lower than that!!!!!
I have called - they aren't gonna say anything over the phone. Even if they knew what it was (which, at this point, in all honesty they probably do) they said they weren't going to release that information over the phone.
