OCC - 2010 applicants / 2011 ADN prospective students

Hey everyone! Im back for my second application into the ADN program at OCC ::sigh:: As I did in the thread I created last year, I am creating a new one for all those applying to the nursing progam for next fall. Lets keep in touch and keep one another updated. Good luck guys!!! :)

I think cutoff will be 3.81

Last yr was way lower so i dont think it will go any higher than 3.81

Hi everyone, I'm sick of waiting too. I looked at posts from last year and noticed that I received my letter on March 18th. My guess is that OCC will mail them on Tuesday or Wednesday (15th or 16th) so we receive them on Friday. I just think they will do that so if people are upset, lots of questions, etc then we have to wait over the weekend and call Monday. I don't think they are trying to be evil but thinking that they'll try to minimize some hassle at Nursing Office. Not trying to be Debbie Downer but I'm tired of the uncertainty. .....My guess for grade point is 3.81.

Ok....I just checked my GPA calculation and I should havea 3.87. This wait is horrible but it helps if I can get through each day w/o thinking about it. Today I cheated by getting on here, but I just had to check to see if you all found anything out. lol. I will be soooooooo upset if I don't get in with my GPA! THis is my second application after retaking 4 B classes. :bluecry1:

Hi Mocha Latte,

I laughed when I read your post. I honestly check this website about 10 times a day to see if there is any new information out there. I'm looking for any nibble of good news. I wish we would find out this week. Oh well. It won't be long now.

Addison what's Ur average if u don't mind me asking? I didn't apply anywhere else, i was hoping for the accelerated program to go through so I worked very hard in the past couple of yrs to maintain a 3.9 but it looks like its not happening. I cnt wait for march to be over and done with so that we know where we stand!!! It's been a very hectic wait
