I am interested to know as well. I am currently in an ADN program and some of the New Grad programs I really liked required a BSN :-(

Those who were in the CC residency or internship, can you tell me how it was?

Awww. When I finish school I will have my ADN. I wish Parkland would take me for their Critical Care/Trauma Internship. I've even contemplated ways to get my BSN in order to get into this program :'-(

I worked there as a unit clerk on L&D a few years ago and I absolutely loved it! The pay is a little lower but I saw some amazing team work and cohesiveness there. I can't say the same for other hospitals tho. The one thing that stood out to me was that everyone wAs treated equally. Those are some of the nicest doctors I've ever encountered :-)

Oh yea....did anybody buy the syllabus for Nur 1410 yet and knows what readings/assignments we have to do by the first day of class? I haven't gotten my syllabus yet but have some of my books so maybe I can get started.

Omg I can't believe it's almost Sept. 1. I am sooo nervous but anxious to start. I still have a few more books to get and then I'm all set. How has everyone's journey been in preparation for the start of the fall semester?

I know at orientation, we were told it's better to get the newest edition of the books we need because we still be using them in the future while on the program, but how do you guys feel about using older editions? Is it that big of a deal? I mean like only 1 edition behind, not 2 or 3.

Also, did anyone else look at the ridiculously long book list on the Bokstore website for our Foundations class? Oh no! Do we really need all those books????

I wish there was a way I could know who is who on Tuesday so we could meet each other and maybe form some study groups. Kinda weird though cause then we will no longer be anonymous. lol

I work in Labor and Delivery as a Secretary. The environment probably works the opposite for me, but I find that there's always a wave of pregnant staff members.

Studying for my final as we speak. I'm so nervous but realizing more and more how much info I really did retain over these past 8 weeks in Pharm. Freedom (or more like the calm before the storm) in T-2 days!

Oh yea.....1 more week of Pharm! We made it to the home stretch. Just 5 more semesters to go! Woohoo!
