  3. in gas evaluations, they will give you a piece of paper to write down your results. As for the systolic/ diastolic readings. you can take the systolic write down the result, wait the 1 minute in between and take the diastolic. good luck!!
  4. I think you only have to know up to the iv calculations. however, the questions on the units, they are basic dd/dh... But number 50 for sure is not a level 1, it's a 2nd year problem. Focus on the conversion chart that's in the front page of the pharm book, know the tsp, tbs, oz, and l to ml e.t.c... And practice the pharm questions xpt 50, and u will b fine
  5. ACE, my brother did get in, congrats everyone!
  6. Ace, my brother applied with a 3.86 last year and didnt make it:( hes a candidate for 2013.... But the program is very good.. And sad, u meet the most amazing people and end up dropping or not making the b- requirement, some by 1 or 2 points:(, my suggestion is hang out with friends and family as much as u can while u wait, because once school starts, u will miss out on A LOT.
  7. I guess tomorrow is the day to find out about GPA
  8. Anyone know what the cut-off was for this year???
  9. LOL addiesmama, I sense a little jealousy. If you don't want to hear people's issues then don't go on this site, its a forum for the love of god!!
  10. the iphone does not have many textbooks to choose from, they do have the basics like davis drug guide, NCLEX review quizzes e.t.c, if your using it for school purposes to buy textbooks, they are not useful at all because these types of gadgets are not for textbooks. you can go on itunes and check out the books that they have. however, with the iphone, I must admit, there are some amazing apps on there for NCLEX. I noticed in pharmacology, some of the questions on the test were very similar to the app. when the teacher mentioned the use of gadgets, I believe she was referring specifically to tape recorders since there is apps to tape lectures on the iphone or ipod.
  11. there's like 10 books!!!! I bought 6 of them online and it seems like the others are new editions because I can't find them anywhere online! With the books that I can't find online that's almost 700 dollars just on books! That's a lot of money!
  12. Anne, what is prep point? and is that a good thing they got rid of it?
  13. ya i dont think there was anything about that in our lecture too
