Hi everyone, I'm sick of waiting too. I looked at posts from last year and noticed that I received my letter on March 18th. My guess is that OCC will mail them on Tuesday or Wednesday (15th or 16th) so we receive them on Friday. I just think they will do that so if people are upset, lots of questions, etc then we have to wait over the weekend and call Monday. I don't think they are trying to be evil but thinking that they'll try to minimize some hassle at Nursing Office. Not trying to be Debbie Downer but I'm tired of the uncertainty. .....My guess for grade point is 3.81.

I really appreciate the details and sure hope the program is going well for you! I'm just sitting and waiting for "the letter" once again. The days are going to slowly but like you said I should appreciate the free time now. Hope I make it in for 2011. Thanks again!!

Hi whosurdaddy! You offered to answer detailed questions so I thought I'd ask. I've applied to OCC program for the fall 2010. Missed it last year...had 3.74 and gpa was 3.77. Anyway, I've been to the info sessions etc but what I really appreciate are the details that you share. Here is my concern. I'm an older student with 2 kids and although we've been told you be the days in lab and theory etc., can you tell me more specifically what a week is like for you? When do classes start? 7 am, 8 am??? When do you finish for the day 4pm 5 pm? How many hours do you spend in lab...all day? I'm just trying to figure out what kind of childcare arrangements I'm going to need etc. Will I be able to have dinner with my kids? Will I ever have free time with family? How many hours are you studying at home etc. I really appreciate your help if you have time to answer questions.....and congrats for getting into the program!!!

My letter came yesterday in regular mail. Sorry about your wait. It's horrible.

Thanks househead4life. This website/posts have made me feel better and have reminded me that I'm not in this alone. Time to get out the occ schedule book. We'll be ready next year.

I ended up getting my letter afterall....but didn't get in. I missed the cutoff by 3/100ths. What a disappointment but still best wishes to everyone else moving on.

Thanks everyone for posting your results! It's better to have some information than none at all. Congrats to everyone who is in so far! We all know the hard work it takes to get there. I'll be stalking the mail carrier tomorrow.
