I am wondering if there is a weight requirement for nurses in Illinois. Is an obese nurse hirable?
I could take my MacBook down and watch tv from that I guess.Today, we took my mother-in-law over the hill to the next valley to try a new place to eat. Today would have been her husband's 92nd birthday and he's been gone a little over a year now. It used to be a local Frosty-style place and has been cleaned up and they make their own potato chips and their French Fries are also homemade and their hamburgers are the best I've had in a long time. They also have lamb burger which is very good as well.
Needless to say, I'm full. And sleepy - all those nasty carbs!
A quick nap . . . then I'll go finish the lawn and maybe get on the treadmill.
Wow you made me hungry Hahahaha seriously though the treadmill is the best bang for your buck! I use the Nike app to track all my runs and stay motivated. Here's my total miles ran to date!

I had an administrator who wouldn't let us hire anyone who he deemed to be overweight. He thought their weight would put them at risk for back injury. He also had problems with us hiring anyone of color because he was convinced they were going to try to bring the union into the building. He wouldn't listen to anyone and we always worked short.

So, he's fired now, yes?

Here's mine! No miles yet for May, lol. I will run tonight after Game of Thrones.

I don't know al Illinois but I you can physically do the job it should open to you. I am significantly over my ideal weight but even my physician hesitates to call me obese. My vitals are great, my blood work even better. I eat a pretty healthy diet as well as doing Muy Thai Ju Jitsu and can put a man bigger than me on the mat most of the time.
So why am I fat? Your guess is as good as mine - I had 18 inches of my bowel removed and actually don't digest very well so that may be a factor. My Physician and I are exploring it together. I don't heal well after surgery so gastric by-pass is not an option. Plus I drowned myself in Vodka for 30 years before I got sober ten years ago.
I have know some obese nurse who can barely get out of a chair and are huffing and puffing after walking 20 feet what they would do in a code situation is really anyone's guess.

I like this calculation. It says I'm ideal, which I always believed.
