Hi! I figured I start a thread (I know it's super early, but I can't be the only one that plans ahead!) for Fall 2020 admissions!
I started my application and hope to find someone else out there going through this process. I have a question though after reading other NYU ASBN threads:
Are we allowed to submit an application if we have some prerequisites courses in progress? I plan to take the remainder of my prereqs (nutrition, statistics, chem, and dev psych) during spring 2020 semester.
I'm super nervous! I have by BS in Early Childhood Education - totally different spectrums. Goodluck to everyone! Hope to hear back from someone soon ?

Good luck submitting! Submitted mine two days ago and got my NYU login today. It doesn't show my transcripts on my common app, but the NYU page says they've received everything! Now it's just a waiting game, I guess. Good luck to everyone!!
Hi there!
I was in contact with NYU representatives and they said we can email them our official transcripts. However, my question is would anyone happen to know if we still need to mail it to the CommonApp Department along with NYU? One of my school's doesn't using ClearingHouse and I am still hoping the physical form of the transcript makes it in time.
Thank you!

If you send your transcripts directly to NYU, you don't have to send them to CommonApp!

maybe not? schools are closed right now so maybe there will be a delay with reviewing applications? not sure
Did anyone get an acceptance letter somewhere else and when is the deadline to commit to that school? I wonder when NYU will start sending out decisions

On previous threads, people have applied awhile before the march 1st deadline and still heard back in May. Not sure if there was special circumstances for them but its a possibility that it could be later. But on a positive note, it is also possible you could hear back in April, all a waiting game.
Hi all!!
I received an acceptance letter earlier today and I was just wondering if anyone else has? I was looking at other schools but NYU is only giving us two weeks to make a decision after receiving admission and I definitely won't hear back from the other schools before then. Not sure what to do because of the tuition costs!!

Question, how do I actually see the status of my admission? I see that they received my transcripts, but where exactly could I see if there’s a potential acceptance or denial? Congratulations by the way!!

Thank you! they send out a status update when they've made the decision.
