NYU Accel. BSN Fall 2010

I just started my application for NYU's ABSN program for Fall 2010. I heard they might not even be accepting applications for fall yet, though, since the spring deadline was only about a week ago. Is anyone else applying here for fall? Also, does anyone know what their average GPA for accepted students is? Would it help to submit my GRE scores even though they don't require it? Sorry I know its a lot of questions but I'm already nervous for admissions

thanks for that! i was reading the fall 2009 forum and it looks like some people got letters @ the end of march. but i bet it just depends on many different factors... i'm trying to be patient. it's not really working though lol.

I think it depends when you sent in your application (and all the supplement materials), also some people are freshman from high school applying NYU nursing school, not the 2nd degree students. So they are probably "early decision" students with priority. At least nobody I spoke to personally got their acceptance letter in March... Mid April maybe... Did you send in all your stuff?

HAs anyone heard back yet for fall 2010??? I'm super duper NERVOUSSSSS!!! I want to hear a reply, but at the same time I don't!!! Such a frustrating feeling...

There are a couple of threads going around with ppl who applied for the fall and so far it seems no one has heard anything yet. Someone recieved an email asking for their midterm grades yesterday though. so at least we know they are reviewing them

Hi Genu9ine.....I've kinda been slacking on following this thread since my chemistry class is kinda kicking my butt right now. I know we're all super busy, but you've been so nice to answer my questions before, so can you kinda catch me up to speed on where we are now? Is this the "official" thread or should I still be chasing around all the other similar ones. Heard somewhere that admissions is saying some of us may not hear answer in April afterall. (EVEN EARLY DECISION APPLICANTS) Thanks in advance ..... hopefully we'll be classmates soon!!!

I applied by the March 1st deadline and the admissions office told me I would hear back between April 15th and sometime in May.

not to freak anyone out, but I'm just curious if anyone tried to activate a netid? I haven't recieved any correspondence with nyu yet (let me make that clear) but I saw something on some old post about how some people were able to do that. I got curious and did it randomly and it allowed me to log in to nyuhome and set up an email and everything lol! i'm just wondering if i'm the only person who's tried. I don't know it's indicative if I've got in, just cuz I know we're not supposed to hear for a while. However, I did try it a while ago and it didn't work and said "this is only for current students" or something like that. Soo just wondering!

where did u get ur netid from lol? would i have to activate a specific number they gave me?

I actually used my social security number because I didn't have that specific number they gave me on hand, and I didn't think it would actually work. I noticed that when it did, the N number that showed up was different from the one they assigned me.
