I just started my application for NYU's ABSN program for Fall 2010. I heard they might not even be accepting applications for fall yet, though, since the spring deadline was only about a week ago. Is anyone else applying here for fall? Also, does anyone know what their average GPA for accepted students is? Would it help to submit my GRE scores even though they don't require it? Sorry I know its a lot of questions but I'm already nervous for admissions
I did find it helpful. I asked some questions. I was sitting farthest from the door, on the right? I am hispanic, black hair, pony tail glasses. Are you staying in a hotel? how was concordia. I dont know how to private message. It was scary how they get 1000 applications! You are graduating with a BA now, in May? I thought it was really helpful and I really liked how organized they were.
Hi everyone, it's glad to see many of you are interested in coming to NYU Nursing. I am currently a NYU nursing student, and I'd love to share some thoughts/information/experiences about NYU Nursing. The reason I am putting up this post (and I will start another thread as well) is because I too went through a process of application with tons of confusion/questions/decision, and wished someone was there to answer some of my concerns. So I'll be available this Saturday Feb 20th (2010 of course), around 3PM-5PM at the starbucks cross street from NYU's Bobst library for a two hour Q&A session. PM me or email me first so I can have a head count. Hopefully I can be some sort of assistance, and truly wish all of you can attend NYU next fall! Good luck!
Speedingticket -- pls let us know what your new thread is or blog site etc. I'm interested to hear about the NYU Nursing experience also let us know your stats with re to educational background and how you did in your pre-reqs as maybe we can gauge our ability of how competitive the program is or not.
Quick question: Do you find that you have to study a lot or is the hard part already over with the science pre-reqs out of the way? How are clinicals? Does NYU grade hard? or has long as you do your work and show up you'll get an "A"?
Thanks

The thread name is "For all NYU Nursing Fall 2010 prospective students!", not sure if you read it yet. I think it answers most of your questions here. It's definitely not show up get an "A", I think no nursing school's like that. You can post on that thread if you have any question, good luck =)
They usually start sending out letters around end of April.
thanks for that! i was reading the fall 2009 forum and it looks like some people got letters @ the end of march. but i bet it just depends on many different factors... i'm trying to be patient. it's not really working though lol.
