NYU Accel. BSN Fall 2010

I just started my application for NYU's ABSN program for Fall 2010. I heard they might not even be accepting applications for fall yet, though, since the spring deadline was only about a week ago. Is anyone else applying here for fall? Also, does anyone know what their average GPA for accepted students is? Would it help to submit my GRE scores even though they don't require it? Sorry I know its a lot of questions but I'm already nervous for admissions

Anyone out there who applied as a traditional transfer to the college of nursing has gotten a decision yet???

I posted a thread about this and there seems to be only one other person on this forum who has also applied to the traditional nursing program lol. We have not received any word on our decision yet however.

I just declined NYU offer for the Accelerated program :smokin: I guess that gives an opportunity for another person to get accepted into the program ;). Going to University of Miami where I will obtain my BSN in just 12 months for MUCH LESS MONEY!! :D Good luck to all of you and make the BEST of this unique experience. :up:

I just found out I got accepted to another college for the same reasons:yeah:. I'm declining NYU as well. Another open seat to whoever is waiting to hear. Good luck! My grades weren't great but my letter or recommendations were! For those who are interested my prerequisites I had a C (mic), half A's and half B's.

Thank you nusingmale for posting this, l was nervous too about getting admission into nyu bcos of my grades. But if you could get accepted with C among your grades then, l should not worry about getting accepted too. l also have a good recommendation from my professor who is nyu alumni and l think she is also a professor at nyu. Actually, l called them, they told me my application is complete and if they need any other thing they will contact me and that l should be hearing from them soon. Though l have 2 C's and the rest were A's and B's hope to take A&P II and Micro this summer. Does anyone else that got accepted have thesame issue as per grade as l have?. Just to have the belief and relax that l will be accepted. Please post ASAP. Congratulations to all that got accepted and those of you that think you will reject the offer please do so on time to give us room for acceptance.

I'm in the very same exact boat. Except the classes I have to take over the summer are developmental psych and nutrition. I'm taking micro right now, and the professor makes it so hard that ill end up with like C if I'm super lucky a B- it's good to know I'm not the only one in this boat bc the wait is such a killer. I like to think that they're sending some rejection letters in addition to the acceptance letters already sent so the fact that we haven't heard is a bit of a plus. Keep praying and hoping. And did they actually contact u to find out regarding the classes left to complete? They emailed me to ask when and where I would take my two classes; but that was like 2 weeks ago, and I have yet to hear anything.

No rejection or acceptance yet! I just applied to Drexel for Spring 2011 as a back up plan..anyone else have any updates to share?

I think someone mentioned earlier in the thread that they had this same issue and called them so see if their app. could be pushed up a bit with the reviewing. i wonder what's going on with everyone waiting to hear, or has everybody heard already...and i'm just out of the loop!!!:uhoh3:

No news on my end either but that's because I had a major fiasco with my transcript missing. Probably won't be hearing back for awhile :sighs: but hopefully, news will come sooner than later! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!
