I just started my application for NYU's ABSN program for Fall 2010. I heard they might not even be accepting applications for fall yet, though, since the spring deadline was only about a week ago. Is anyone else applying here for fall? Also, does anyone know what their average GPA for accepted students is? Would it help to submit my GRE scores even though they don't require it? Sorry I know its a lot of questions but I'm already nervous for admissions
Yeah I know! Last time I called I cut the girl off who answered because she was giving me a generic freshman applicant answer. I told her "look, I'm not a freshman applicant so transfer me please" lol.
After talking to them like that I hope you didn't give them your name. You're application is probably located somewhere between the toilet of a bathroom or it's been sliced into a million pieces lol
Well I didn't say it with an attitude, I'm not stupid now! lol. it's like the students who answer the phones are programmed to answer freshman related questions though. but she just kept going on and on about how decisions were already sent. When she realized I wasn't a freshman she was like "oooh!"

They must recite a script when students call lol
i'm along with you! i'm finishing up A&P 2
Same here, A&P II and Microbiology
OK, so I just got done speaking with one of the admissions officers and she was super friendly. After explaining my situation, of having been accepted to other schools, which require non-refundable deposits by May 1st, she let me know that transcripts are still being sorted but she promises that she will have a decision made for me by next Friday. Next Friday is also my birthday... I hope I don't get a disappointing birthday present :-(
Wow, you might be hearing back earlier than the rest of us! Exciting :)! I'm sure that you'll hear good news, especially since you've already been accepted into other nursing schools (congrats!). I'm pretty anxious and continue to stare longingly at the mailbox lols but I'm hoping that we hear as early as by the end of the week *fingers crossed*.

Do not even talk to the student ambassadors, they do not know anything and will tell you the same thing over and over. Ask to speak with a counselor. In life, you always want to talk to the people who runs the show;)
