NYU ABSN Fall 2013 Entry

Hello everyone! I have submitted my application and my transcripts to NYU for the ABSN program beginning in fall 2013! I am very excited but surprised that we will be hearing so late about an admission decision. Is anyone else applying?

I wonder what percentage of people who applied are still waiting for a decision either way- based on this forum, it seems like it could be a decent amount...

Has anyone gotten their financial aid package yet? I called financial aid and they said they haven't started awarding financial aid for people in the accelerated program yet and will be doing it within the next three weeks. However I have a week to accept my admissions decision so I would have to accept it before I would know if I even got in, or have to try to get an extension on my deadline. Just wondering if anyone else was in the same situation?

The wait is super painful. But I keep telling myself that NYU has until the end of May to notify us, and that not hearing is neither a good nor bad indication. People have already been accepted, people have been rejected. They may have not seen my application yet for all I know. We have NO MORE than 8 Tues/Thursday notification days left.

Hopefully a lot of us will hear good news this week.

You said it! It is like riding a roller coaster nonstop! I am also hoping for some good news tomorrow or Thursday!!!!
