NVCC Nursing May 2015

Hi Everyone!

I really wanted to begin a thread about NVCC's traditional Nursing Program to begin in Fall 2015 (Applications are due May 21 2015). I would like that everybody share her/his experience applying to this program while waiting for the acceptance letters..... and good luck everyone.

PS: i am waiting for my application being processed notification email.

Did anybody receive this notification yet? please let me know :)

So some people did get an official acceptance letter?. That's crazy. I haven't received anything. Even if I did not get accepted, can they at least send me a rejection letter to confirm?

Hi guys! My name is Shelli, I'm your Nursing Student Association President. The last couple of years acceptances have been received around the 20th of June so keep an eye out! I look forward to meeting you all, unfortunately I can't be at your orientation, instead you'll meet the VP there, you'll meet me on campus though, I'm all over the place. Good luck, it's going to be a great year!

Also, I'd like to invite anyone who'd like to come:

Bring your kids, floaties, picnic or grilling, dogs. Water shoes optional but there are a few parts where it would be a lot more comfortable if you had them.

The water has been amazing this week, hope to see you guys there! You'll know me by the pink and purple hair.

I said allied health student not nursing . Don't panic. We will hear something soon. It's really hard to wait more but we have no choice other than waiting.

I just saw on MEC FB page sayin if u were recently accepted dont forget to sign up for orientation:/ sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. :)

yes but maybe it is not for nursing applicants . it's for allied health. we didn't hear anything yet.

MEC campus is closed today 06/19/2015 ======= means more waiting!!!!!!!

Does anyone please knows when exactely we will receive some kind of communication from them. it has been more than 4 weeks since the deadline

This morning while waiting for our 6th grade son's graduation ceremony to begin, I read the email about the MEC being closed today and thought the same thing: more waiting. I had been optimistically hopeful that acceptance emails might be sent out today.

i have the same feeling. the first thing i did this morning was checking my email to find out that the MEC is closed.........!!!

I totally agree with everyone else's sentiments about waiting more... I was hoping they made the decisions and we would know by Monday since it was previously mentioned that acceptances were generally received around the 20th... wishful thinking that they relocated our files and are scoring them in an air conditioned facility on any of the other campuses?!

Thank GOD! I am not the only one. Just keeeeep waiting. Hopefully hear by Monday. It's SATURDAY!!! but I still checked my email, haha :(

Does anyone knows how was last year of GPA?
