Hi Everyone!
I really wanted to begin a thread about NVCC's traditional Nursing Program to begin in Fall 2015 (Applications are due May 21 2015). I would like that everybody share her/his experience applying to this program while waiting for the acceptance letters..... and good luck everyone.
PS: i am waiting for my application being processed notification email.
Did anybody receive this notification yet? please let me know :)
Thanks
Originally I found out about the orientation sign-up page via NOVA MEC Student Service's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/NOVAMECSS?fref=ts
But here is a direct link: Orientation Registration :: Northern Virginia Community College
I did not sign up for an orientation, but when I followed the steps listed above by JerryFosho, I also see the "Traditional Track Nursing Orientation" link. Within the various tabs of this section there is either no information or dated information from 2014. I have not received an acceptance email or letter in the mail. Had it not been for JerryFosho listing how to navigate to this area, I never would have seen it, so I don't have any idea how long it's been there.
According to the MEC orientation registration page, "This orientation is ONLY for students who have completed the MEC application process and have been officially offered admission by the academic program."
Novarn540, have you received an email and/or letter of acceptance for the nursing program?

Hi. I am still waiting too! I have no idea of last year's GPA. My GPA is a 3.9, but 2/3 of my TEAS scores were not all that impressive. I passed first round...but that is about it. I have heard the same as everyone else, last fall, they took all eligible candidates for the Fall term, but Spring was competitive and not everyone made it. I am very hopeful for Monday or Tuesday.
