NVCC Nursing May 2015

Hi Everyone!

I really wanted to begin a thread about NVCC's traditional Nursing Program to begin in Fall 2015 (Applications are due May 21 2015). I would like that everybody share her/his experience applying to this program while waiting for the acceptance letters..... and good luck everyone.

PS: i am waiting for my application being processed notification email.

Did anybody receive this notification yet? please let me know :)

I am still waiting. They may send it out tomorrow,hopefully. Are you guys are LPN to RN program or traditional? I applied LPN to RN.

I did not sign up for an orientation, but when I followed the steps listed above by JerryFosho, I also see the "Traditional Track Nursing Orientation" link. Within the various tabs of this section there is either no information or dated information from 2014. I have not received an acceptance email or letter in the mail. Had it not been for JerryFosho listing how to navigate to this area, I never would have seen it, so I don't have any idea how long it's been there.

For reputational reasons, the discovery was made by Novarn540. She and I are friends and both us have neither received our letters of acceptance but have registered for orientation in advance. Both of us are following the Traditional Nursing track.

Do you know anything about Lpn to Rn program, like how they decide whos in whos out?

I am sooo nervous cuz my GPA 3.25. If I am above 3.5, I wouldn't worry. Good luck!!!

I wouldn't be too anxious if I applied for the LPN to RN program. You guys would probably recieve your letters much later because of when your classes start.

I signed up the orientation as well. I applied for the Traditional Nursing track. I received a confirmation email stating I successfully registered for the Nursing Orientation. I have received nothing about an acceptance. Perhaps today...

I dont know much details about the Lpn to program. Just thats its competitive. Two of my friends who are Lpns have applied in the past and didnt get in. I dont know..:( i do hear NOVA has a wonderful reputation and one if the few schools who have a bridge program.

I hate the waiting game. I was all excited anticipating the wait now im like oh:/ gotta start thinkin whats my next step.

Hi guys,

I asked MEC counselor, he said they are still processing he doesn't know when it will be ready but soon.

And we will be all (traditional and LPN to RN) notified same time.

Please check your emails. There should definitely be an acceptance letter waiting for you guys in there
