Hello, Congrats to all that have gotten in!! Is the Nursing orientation you all are talking about the MEC orientation (several dates available)or the mandatory nursing one on 7/7? Just had a quick question, I haven't reviewed 100% thoroughly everything but I believe it says our clinicals will be assigned to us on nursing orientation day, 7/7th but on the MEC orientation sign up( on facebook) it indicates we have to attend one of those general allied health ones before we can sign up for any of our program classes. Forgive me if it sounds like I am freaking out a little. It is just a bit much to think about scheduling, it is a pretty tight time frame, juggling a full time job and summer vacation schedule with my kiddo..

I totally agree with everyone else's sentiments about waiting more... I was hoping they made the decisions and we would know by Monday since it was previously mentioned that acceptances were generally received around the 20th... wishful thinking that they relocated our files and are scoring them in an air conditioned facility on any of the other campuses?!

Sorry-- I know that this is not completely on topic--- but does anyone know the possibility of being accepted into a nursing program with a DUI on your record? Speaking of background checks...?

Hello! Thanks for creating this thread, I was looking for any recent information as I was finding older application years. From what I understand, Student Services reviews the information that is submitted, makes sure it includes all information needed, then forwards the applications to the Nursing Division to assign points, or rank them or whatever.
