I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX
NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005
Visa received : ???
Date of entry in the US :???
GC receive : ????
I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.
God bless!
Hi everyone!!! i had my consular interview last August but i was not yet given a visa because my petitioner (the hospital) had merged with other hospital and the embassy is asking for additional documentary proof about this merging. The consul said that there will be "bit of a delay". we had already submitted the papers that they are asking last september (2nd wk) and the embassy said that we just wait for a notice to arrive. Will i still be affected by the retrogression? am i entittled for a reserved visa? tnx
If you had your interview, there is a visa that has been reserved for you.
agp_ph: November batch was already sent at the embassy last OCT 12.

Good day to Ms. Suzanne, I'm new to this site. Hope you could give me an idea. I paid my visa fee bill last Aug.2006. My priority date was May 2002. Is there by any chance if I'll be included in the Dec.2006 or Jan 2007 interview in London US Embassy? I'm still waiting for my packet 3.Hoping I'll receive it next week and send it back by last week of October thru DHL.Thanks.

Once you have completed packet 3 you are still looking at anything from 8-12 weeks approx to get interview date and that depends if there are any visas left. Once NVC have finished with the paperwork it is sent to the US embassy in London and I believe you can't book medicals until you have received packet 4. With retrogression things have slowed for everyone regardless of where you are from, things may move quicker once things settle down depending on where you where born as visas are allocated depending on place of birth not where you reside. I am just waiting for NVC fee to be paid and lawyer can send DS information (packet 3) to them and then fingers crossed for interview
So agp_ph & bottomless appetite, did you get a November interview?
May we request helpful co-nurses who have November 2006 schedule of interviews to pls share your timeline, from PD to case completion to receipt of Packet 4.. Thanks so much for letting us have an idea where the rest of us stand in the process.
