NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Hi monroe77,

what website did you read the article. Can you share the site with us. We are interested in reading abvout this.

I forgot the site where i read that article. huhuhu. Well, we have nothing to worry, I know we can leave the country in God's time. Let us pray together that the retrogression will be demolished.

Hi Monroe..Is your case complete already at the NVC? My case was completed just last week. What will happen now? Are we still going to receive our packet4 (appt schedule and medical) even with the retrogression going on? :uhoh3:

I don't know if my case in the NVC is already complete. I was calling the NVC but my calls could not get through. How did you know that your case was completed? did you call the NVC or you just send them an email? i really dont have any idea if we can still receive our packet 4 (hopefully we can). I checked on the visa interview schedule (using my priority number), and unfortunately I do not have any schedule yet. Let us cross our fingers that before the retrogression we will be scheduled for the interview. But, according to the visa bulletin, their priority are those who were filed on and before october 2005. But, according to the testimony of one of the member in this site, he is scheduled for an interview this november. In fact, his priority number is april.

Congratulations.

Now, the journey begins.

Keep us posted.

Congratulation! wow, in just 6 months you got your visa already. Good for you man! What visa center you were applied?

I mean he got his visa already (pinoyRako). In fact, his priority date is april 2006. Can you imagine, in just 6 months he is done with the entire process? hehehehe. think positive.

I called the NVC automated phone system. It says there that my case was complete as well as the date when it was completed. It also says to wait for 8 weeks for further instuctions. Yup PinoyRNako had his interview already and got his visa already. I hope we'll be able to get an interview slot soon. By the way, which web site did you check your interview schedule using your priority number? Did you use your priority date of case number? Keep me posted.

Unfortunately you will also be affected by retrogression. Do not expect to get an interview schedule this year. MY priority date was November 2005 and case completion Aug 23, 2006. However, I am not yet included in the November interview batch. Probably because my priority date is after Oct 1, 2005. So base on this, you will not be getting an interview sched this year.

Hi! Does anyone here know someone who has a priority date after October 1, 2005 but got an interview schedule? I've been monitoring this thread but no one seems to have an interview schedule here.

Hi. "PinoyRNako" had his interview last Oct 13, 2006. His priority date is Apr 2006. He just posted his time line. He just got his visa too.

Yes he did. But that was before the retrogression startes. October visa bulletin was still current when he was scheduled. If there is no retrogression, the priority date does not matter...it is the case completion date that is important. But when retrogression starts this November...the priority date is the basis for interview schedule.

I should have been included in the October interview but they had a cutt-off of Aug 19, 2006 completion date and mine was Aug 23 that's why I was not included. If there was no retrogression this NOvember, I should have been included in the November batch but unfortunately I got caught up.

A delay of only 5 days in processing my papers resulted into being caught up by retrogression. I am really disappointed because my lawyer did not send my papers right away. They had my packet 3 since June but they only sent it on August...so here I am, got caught up by the retrogression.

Oh yeah that's right since Oct is still current. Don't worry we'll have our time and I hope i'll be soon. It really leaves us no choice but to wait. Pls keep me posted. :uhoh3:

Yes, we'll have our time but hopefully we won't have to wait long...we'll just keep evryone here posted as to the developments of this retrogression. Let's hope and pray that the schedule A category is still there when the December bulletin comes out next month.

hi everybody,

my pd is july 2005, trasnferred my case to consulate last aug 2006. i got interview sched by next month and medical this week. i don't want to give a false hope but surely retrogression's date is changing like what we have right now, retrogressed date for ex-schedule-a is 01 oct 05. i'm not also overconfident that i would get visas next month though i got schedule date for interview. we can't compare our cases to others, i notice that other's pd's are later than mine, some are before oct'05. also i notice that single applicants, couples or family with 1 child get earlier approval than others it may be because visa nos are very limited. we have to be patient, everything doens't matter as long as "faith" is to be sure of the things we hope for...
