I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details

hello :) great site!!!,my nvc case was completed last nov.20,05. Based from the tread i will be expecting my consular interview this late feb.06.But until now I havent passed the english exam so I dont have my visascreen yet. What will happen if my consular interview comes and I dont have yet my visascreen assuming until feb i havent pass english exam:o will I be denied? what is the best option, will i call the embassy for re schedule an appointment?Need your help, im really confused.:uhoh21: tks
Yes, you can be denied if you have not completed the English exams by then. It will be up to the official to make the final call, some will put everyhting on hold, and let you submit it when you have it, others will cancel out everything.
But delaying yourt interview can put you at the back of the line again, in terms of waiting for the interview.
I would work very hard on getting that exam passed. Not sure which one that you are taking, but you may find it easier to take the IELTS if you are having issues with the speaking section.
hello suzanne:) tks for the reply.I took ielts first my score was overall 6.0 and speaking 7.0, then i took toefl-209 twe-5.0, now im waiting for the tse result, i took it last oct.15,until now i havent received the result, when do you think the result will arrived in manila?
Back on my case, if worst to worst comes and Im schedule for appointment, and still I havent pass english test, what will i do?will i call embassy in manila to re-schedule my appointment? Is it the best option I have.
thank you again:rotfl: your a great help
Anna,Which website do you use to track your progress? I've been using the USCIS website. What's the email address for the UK enquiries?
Thanks,
Tina
I am still waiting for approval but been told can keep track with NVC number which was what a friend did, she emailed 6 weeks after seeing was sent to UK embassy and emailed them, got answer within 4 hours and told they have recieved their files so emailed back asking if she could go ahead and book medicals, they gave the ok and she had interview within 3 weeks of medical. medicals are valid for only 3 months so she knew wouldn't be long :wink2:

You can call the embassy for a re-schedule or you can just take your chance. Chance is that the consul will hold your application and ask to come back once you have your visa screen certiifcate ready.
Ever heard of "walk-in applicants?" This refers to applicants who were asked to come back later when their documents are complete.
OR if the consul is "not in the mood," your visa application can de denied.

Tks REP:wink2: Its my first time to hear the "walk-in applicants", can you pls elaborate what will happen if ever I reschedule the apointment,
Can I choose the date for example after 3 months?
Will I ever wait for another packet 4 since I reschedule the appointment?
How about the medical, will I attend my medical one week before the date based on my original schedule or based on the reschedule date?
You said you take the TSE also, how long for the score report to arrive?
I took the TSE last OCT.15,and until now I havent received the score report, the waiting is killing me:bluecry1:
Sorry for asking too much:sniff:
Pay very close attnetion to Rep's last post. Depending on the mood of the person at the Embassy, they can deny your application. That is actualy what they are supposed to do. I would not try and play Russina Roulette with this, you could find yourslef starting over.
They are beginning some new immigration rules over here sonn, tightening up on immigration, etc. So best case scenerio, at least have a pssing score on the speaking part of the English exams before going to your interview, and try not to have to reschedule. You could go to the very back of the line.
