I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Hi guys! Just called the NVC. FINALLY! they have recieved my docs July 18 hope it gets completed in time. if there is still time:uhoh3:. Still hoping and praying!!!! God Bless us all!!!
Just releived at the moment that my case has been forwarded to the embassy even if no interview dates left at least it will be there when the new fiscal yr comes in Oct.
Every step we get further we celebrates, we all know the saying good things come to those who wait! roll on the good things.

I've got an email from NVC stated that I need to submit again another DS 230 so they will continue processing my papers. I did send them my new DS 230 awhile ago so they will received it by next week. Hope everythings doin fine with the papers that are now in packet 3 with updated DS 230 and now being processed. Just update me guys with your updated DS 230 if its already approved.

takes a few weeks to get across to the UK and appointments are given usually 2-3 weeks so won't be in July. Really pleased for her and hope she hears so. Some people are not even able to get medicals done until after their interview more delays. Just shows how different embassies do their appointments (we are told to allow 8 weeks for the file to get to the UK and interviews appointed)
But as far as I know, it is the NVC who makes an appointment letter and not the US embassy consulate abroad, if the NVC has sent her files to the US consulate abroad then expect that a scheduled date has been made.:uhoh21:

As far as I am aware here in the UK the embassy makes the appointment once they receive file. I also have heard that London embassy does things a little different than other embassies. I did see a link that says wait 12 weeks for your file to reach the embassy. Just trying to find it
hi ..I just called the NVC automated response and it says ,they received my documents last July 13 and wait for 6-8 weeks...hope there will be visas reserved for us.....lets keep our fingers crossed and pray hard.

well yes...prayers and luck...who know's SOMETHING GREAT WILL HAPPEN in the near future and we will have a white christmas after all...Goodluck to all of us..
